History

What is the problem?

The Ferguson app does not provide any means of helping customers navigate the app or use the different features. When a customer is new to Ferguson, they may be unfamiliar with how Ferguson operates (job board, product codes, pricing, etc.) or how to user certain features.

How did you become aware of the problem?

Who is affected (customer, associate)?

  • Warehouse Manager

    • Responsible for taking inventory and stock orders

    • Most likely to utilize bar code scanner and receive scan list emails from technicians

    • Create custom lists of products

    • Purchases stock orders

    • Check Order History for order statuses

  • Technician

    • Responsible for scoping out a job and identifying the required material

    • Most likely to utilize product search

    • Needs to locate available products nearby for emergency and same day jobs

    • May use the barcode scanner to record warehouse/truck stock that was used for a job and send to warehouse/operations manager to order replenishment.

  • Owner/Operator

    • Responsible for business operations

    • Most likely to utilize Order History to check spending and order status

    • May flip quotes

    • Likely to utilize product search and my lists

    • Places orders
