Background

We put a new design handoff process into place between DXT and the developers. Design > Development Handoff

In this retro we went over how that process flow is working so far. Itโ€™s been a little over 6 months that the process has been in place.

Start doing

Stop doing

Keep doing

  • need to be made aware of when designs are going live so DXT can make adjustments on our end

  • possibly manually keep up with tickets going live if there isnโ€™t some sort of automation of letting DXT know when these are going out

  • need organized way to submit requests

  • include design decisions/changes that happen on Jira ticket when links to designs/prototypes are being handed off

  • Most processes were looking great

  • when someone new does not have access to software or is new to a process, help onboard them and catch them up to speed

Action items

talk with scrum masters about where we could fit into the flow for testing before/after launch
need to find out if we need to separate work on large canvas and tie to specific tickets better, was this skipped or not needed
