Purpose 

This document outlines the process for DXT creating and updating JSON Website Features Slots.   

Procedure 

• Merchandise should submit their website features slot requests as new issues on this project: DXT Ticket Queue and include a link to the sheet for JSON export.

Existing Slot updates

• To update existing slots, update the JSON file (2600011519600) following our standard JSON exporting procedure.

New Slots

• Create HTML slot. Name the slot "Website Features - (KOB)(LOCATION)"
  1. Ex: Website Features - HVAC Homepage
  2. Ex: Website Features - Comm Industry Solutions

• For the data-id, replace with the id defined in column A on the "slots" tab of this spreadsheet.

• For new slots, attach the following files to the HTML slot
  1. Website Features Slot (2600011519651)
  2. Website Features - CSS (2600011519685)
  3. Banner Toolkit V3 (2600009519426)

• Testing / Publishing
  1. Provide Slot asset to Merchandiser by replying to the issue (if new slot created, also add slot ID to column B of spreadsheet).
  2. Test in staging when link is provided.
  3. Re-export spreadsheet and update WCS JSON as changes are needed.
  4. Publish HTML slot and JSON file as normal.
