This document outlines the process for DXT creating JSON Category pages, or Quick Sheetsย (QS).ย ย ย
Importantย Noteย โย The spreadsheets for JSON Category pages live in Drive hereย organized by category.ย
Procedureย
- Merchandise should submit their category page requests as new issues on this project: DXT Quick Queueย and include a link to the sheet for JSON export.
- Export the JSON and upload to WCS.
- Install the Export Sheet Data plugin to Google Sheets if you don't already have it
- Follow the screenshots below to export the spreadsheet into JSON
- JSON files are exported into the same folder the spreadsheets are in
- Name the file "(CATEGORY) - JSON" in WCS
- Ex: Showers - JSON
- Create HTML slot. Name the slot "(CATEGORY) - Category-Brand Slot"
- Ex: Showers - Category-Brand Slot

- For the H1, replace with the category name of the page you're creating.
- For the data-campaign, replace with the asset ID of the JSON file.
- Tag both JSON file and HTML slot with the WF issue number
- Attach the following files to the HTML slot
- Javascript โ Category Template (2600008086908)
- Category Stylesheet (2600005632564)
- Testing / Publishing
- Provide Slot asset to Merchandiser by replying to the QS issue.
- Test in staging when link is provided.
- Re-export spreadsheet and update WCS JSON as changes are needed.
- Publish HTML slot and JSON file as normal.

IMPORTANT**
After you create a new page, add the asset ID to this spreadsheet. This will list all of the current pages and their asset IDs to find/reference in the future.
