Microsoft Teams for Jira

Jira Cloud for Microsoft Teams makes collaboration and communication over the backlog easy and smooth. Create tabs with issues and track and discuss your team’s progress in your channel without leaving Microsoft Teams.

To add to Teams:

Add a tab by clicking on the + at the top of the screen in a Channel

Select Jira Cloud

Chose how you want to set up the tab

View a list of issue within your Team

 

In a chat click on the 3 dots to Find an app

Sign in with your O365 account

Search for issues

Clicking on the issue will add it to the message so you can put it in a chat

To create an issue from Teams, click on the + and then click on Create issue

Fill out the form, making sure you select the correct project. Summary field is required.

You should get a confirmation message.

It’s now in the message field to send in a chat if you want
