Global Messaging
Global messaging refers to certain system statuses and notifications that apply to the entire site in general. If the message only correspond to a single page or view, we would NOT use a Global Message, it will be a Page-Level message.
These are the specifications for a Global message:
- Is a full-width section that pushes the entire site down,
- Has a site-width container inside that holds the message content,
- Includes a close button if needed.
- Icons are typically 24 x 24 px. Icons
- Text is typically Dark Regular Body by default. Typography
The message that is showed above in the light grey box - "Some customer info may be incorrect on the site. We're looking into a solution."- would be an example of a "Global 'info' message".
