Dashboard elements

Dashboard elements allow you to enhance your dashboard. You can add anything from charts, controls, lines, links, images, text, and more.

Chart

Charts display the metrics you and your team are most interested in.

  1. There are two ways to create a chart. You can either:

    1. select Create > Chart from the global navigation

    2. select Add chart from a dashboard’s sidebar

  2. You can either create a chart from a template or from scratch using the chart editor. Learn more about how to create a chart.

Controls

Controls filter or change the way data looks on your dashboard. Learn more about controls.

To add a control to your dashboard:

  1. Select Add control from the dashboard sidebar. A pop-up will appear.

  2. Select your desired control type. Learn more about the available control types.

  3. Provide the required information based on the selected control type.

  4. Select Add.

  5. Place the control on your dashboard.

Content

Content provides you with greater flexibility to craft and structure your dashboard to your liking. All content will be created using the content editor.

To add content to your dashboard:

  1. Select Content from the dashboard sidebar. The content editor will appear.

  2. Add one or more of the following content elements to your dashboard:

    1. Status

    2. Smart Links

    3. Info panel

    4. Text

    5. Numbered list

    6. Divider

    7. Code snippets

    8. Quotes

    9. Emojis

    10. Date

    11. Layout

Image

Images can help to spice up your dashboard. But you’re not restrained to static images; you can also upload GIFs or short videos.

To add an image to your dashboard:

  1. Select Add image from the dashboard sidebar. A pop-up will appear.

  2. Select Choose file to upload a media file from your computer.

  3. Select Add.

  4. Place the image on the desired area of your dashboard.
