Flagged Impediment Type

Due to some changes in the way the Jira new issue view works, we are no longer able to see or choose the type of impediment when an issue is Flagged.

To eliminate this problem and to foster better reporting of impediments, we have put an automation rule in place that will automatically Flag an issue when you select an Impediment Type.

Automation Name: Flagged

Trigger: When: Value changes for Impediment type:

Open

Then: Edit Issue:

Field: Flagged

Action: Copy Impediment Type from Trigger issue
