Problem:
You were given a link to a Jira ticket/project/board/dashboard or filter and can't access.
You were given a link a Confluence space/page but can't access the Space/page.
Step 1 - Do you have an account in Ferguson Prod?
Submit a ticket on the Ferguson Service Hub for access to Ferguson Prod Jira/Confluence.
Include the Permissions group. Permissions group give access to Confluence only. Permissions groups DO NOT GIVE ACCESS to Jira.
User requests are automated and most Jira/Confluence access should be granted within the hour.
Step 2 - Are you loggged in?
Look at the top right of the screen. If it looks like a door with an arrow pointing to a 3 sided box, you are not logged in.
Click on the arrow icon to login to Jira or Confluence.

---|
While Confluence and Jira share the same Atlassian account, you are given access separately for each so will have to log in to Confluence, even if you were already logged into Jira. |
Step 3 - Have you been added to the project?
User requests only give access to Jira. You need to be added to a project in order to view/work on issues.
Have your Project Admin add you to the project in a Team Member role.
Here is documentation to /wiki/spaces/TRAIN/pages/95715443.
Step 4 - Is the Confluence page restricted?
Can anyone else access the page?
Are you getting a restricted message, even after following all the steps above?
Is the space in the same category (ex. eComm, Integrations, etc) of the Permissions group you selected in your access request?
Submit another access request to be added to any additonal groups needed.
Has the owner of the page/space added restrictions?
Have the owner grant you explicit access if there are restrictions on the page.
